PETITIONING/SIGNATURE GATHERING LOCATIONS IN THE EUGENE/SPRINGFIELD AREA
All of the below sites you’re required to be outside. For the Natural Food Stores, check in with an employee first to let them know you’ll be petitioning. At the County Fair grounds they may ask you to be out at the curb edge (not always), and the Farmers Market/Saturday Market, you may need to be at the street corners only.
- Any U.S. Post Office
- Eugene/Springfield DMV
- Downtown Eugene or Springfield on public property
- Lane County Court House/Free Speech Plaza
- Farmers Market/Saturday Market (restarting in the Spring)
- Eugene or Springfield Public Libraries
Grocery Stores...
- Natural Grocers
- Sundance
- Kiva
- Friendly’s
- Capella’s
- Red Barn
- New Frontier Market
Places that do not allow petitioning on their property (but you could petition out on the public side-walk, although this makes these locales not worth bothering with):
-Whole Foods, Traders Joes, all of the Market of Choices, Down to Earth (and adjacent shops)
You can drop off your completed petitions at our office (#211) at the Growers Market at 454 Willamette Street in Eugene. Be sure to sign and fill out the required information at the bottom of each petition before turning them in. If no one is at the office, you can slide them under the door. Additional new petitioning sheets are available on the outside of the door.
